“ One of my favorite Chinatown eats and very yummy tea. I mostly come here for the soup dumplings, but everything Ive tried has been great. Maybe a little pricey but not bad. I recommend ordering ahead and to get food to go as it gets dark. Not their fault, there are just some weird characters that hang around the area in the evening. ”
“ Food was hot and fantastic! Price was great! Service was fast! If you are looking for a no frills Chinese restaurant. This is the place to go. We had the shrimp fried rice, orange chicken and General Tsos chicken. ”
“ Came in right at opening at 1030am, and by 11am, the entire seating area inside was full. The food is very tasty and wasnt overly breaded like most Chinese places are. We got the orange chicken and sesame chicken lunch special, and an order of soup dumplings. Both of the lunch specials were 11.50. The portions were a decent size, and we had a good amount we took to go. In a location full of Chinese places, Id definitely recommend Joy Luck! ”
“ 40, good place for a quick bite! Limited seating! Was packed after Lunar New Year celebration ”
“ Super good food and not a bad price for what we got Pad Thai. Very fast and very hot. Like any small mom and pop shop, it had little in ambiance. But, what it lacked in atmosphere it made up in deliciousness!!! Highly recommend! ”
“ I was not expecting this place to be so delicious! I thought it was just another carry out place, but they really have solid flavors of home. The interior decor is very barebones. There is no public bathroom, and the service is none existent. There is minimal seating, but I dont think they really expect people to eat here since they only use carry out containers. We ordered beef chow foon with black bean sauce, wonton noodle soup, and scallion pancakes. The scallion pancakes were just okay and just tasted like fried dough, but the beef chow foon was very delicious maybe a little salty. The wonton soup was also really good. The soup was very rejuvenating with the egg noodles and wonton broth. I wanna come for their lunch menu which is only 10! ”
“ Best general tos chicken, Im a first class chef of over 10 years and i was born into the industry as my dad owned restaurants, grand father owned a food truck. Grandmother was a baker. I know good food when I try it. ”
“ i went in to order some dumplings not realizing they were closing in 10 minutes and they were so sweet and didnt mention that they were closing. my food was hot, yummy, and i was also treated to some red bean sesame buns thank you! ”
